The Ranch Counseling and Training Center is passionate about serving children, adults, and families who have experienced challenges, traumas, and loss. Believing in the dignity and value of all people, The Ranch strives to bring expertise in trauma interventions to resolve the distress and disorder that gets in the way of healthy living. Counselors have experiences at Regional Victim Crisis Center and Abilene Independent School District which bring invaluable insight to helping grow skills of understanding and healing in challenging systems. In addition, to serving clients, The Ranch seeks to educate systems to have a trauma sensitive and informed perspective. The goal of The Ranch Counseling and Training Center is to empower clients and communities to experience the fullness of life and the worth and value that is inherent in who they are. COLIN HOLLINGSWORTH

Colin Hollingsworth is a Licenced Professional Counselor-Associate and is supervised by Jennifer Seekins, LPC-S. Colin is passionate about serving children, adults, and families who have had life experiences that have not allowed them to live into the fullness of who they are meant to be. He believes that all people are unique, special, and that they deserve the opportunity to thrive during this life. Through his experience working as an LPC-A in Abilene ISD as both a Special Education Behavior Teacher and a Behavior Liaison for Children and adolescents ages 5-18, Colin has had the opportunity to develop the skills to aid in childhood development and healing from traumas for children of many different backgrounds. Colin has been a volunteer at the Ben Richey Boys Ranch since 2022 and has led social emotional groups with the boys at the Abilene Ranch. He is excited to have the opportunity to serve both the Abilene and Albany Ranches. Colin believes that all people deserve the opportunity to grow and have the ability to thrive in this life. He also acknowledges that there are experiences that some people may have that hinder one’s ability to thrive. He hopes that he can help people to work through these experiences to grow into the fullness of not only who they are, but who they want to be. As a husband and soon to be father, Colin feels blessed to be part of an organization that is a community that is focused on family and faith. He hopes that his skills and abilities will lend themselves to making powerful, positive impacts both at the ranch and the surrounding community.
